Monday – Psalm 105:1-3. What wonderful acts have you seen from God? Have you told others about them?

Lord God, please grant me a greater measure of Your perspective, so that rejoicing becomes a constant in my life. I will learn to seek You with all my heart.

Tuesday –Ephesians 6:18. What circumstances tend to get in the way of consistent, devoted prayer in your life? What situations cause you to seek God more diligently?

God, I know I should come to You in everything. My circumstances do not change my need for You. I will keep coming to You with all kinds of requests.

Wednesday – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Are you seeking God’s will for your life? These verses provide some clear direction about how to find it, no matter what your specific situation might be.

Father in heaven, I give up my right to worry or complain about my challenges. Instead, I will adopt joy and thanksgiving as a way of life, and keep bringing every concern to You.

Thursday – Romans 13:14. If we are truly “putting on” Jesus, it will change our thought processes. So the first step in overcoming the sins that plague us is to seek Christ more fervently?

Our Father, forgive me for not putting You first at all times. I do want to live for You. I will put on Christ as part of preparing for each day.

Friday – Romans 12:2. Growing as a follower of Christ means “renewing your mind” – changing your thoughts to line up with God’s will. Is that what you really want? Are you willing to change?

Father God, I want to be transformed into a more faithful disciple for You. I invite You to be part of my thoughts and change anything that isn’t worthy of You.

Saturday – 1 Corinthians 2:14-16. What kinds of thoughts or habits would not be appropriate for someone who has the mind of Christ? Which of those thoughts or habits are especially challenging for you?

Great God in heaven, I want to see the world more and more as You see it. Help me discern where You are leading me each day, and pursue those things wholeheartedly.

Monday – Philippians 3:17. An aspect of discipling others is to be an example of Godly living. Thank God for people in your life who model Jesus and take note of the people that are watching you.
Father, I praise You for the disciples who model how to live Your Word. I pray that I too would be an example that brings You praise.

Tuesday – Philippians 3:18. There are many who live as enemies of the cross of Christ and have brought Paul to tears. Their destiny is one of destruction, their stomach is their God and their glory is their shame. Therefore, we put to death our earthly nature.

Lord, help me surrender all that is earthly and unpleasant in Your sight.

Wednesday – Philippians 3:20-21. We eagerly await the Savior from heaven and escape eternal destruction. By the power of Christ we have self control and our glory comes when we are made like Him.

Heavenly God, we stand firm in Your love and long for the day we will rest with You forever in heaven.

Thursday – Colossians 3:1. How is setting your heart and mind on Christ related to what He has already done for us?

Lord, You have thought about me from the beginning of time and my heart’s desire is to conform to the image of Your Son.
