Monday – Proverbs 1:8-9  What life skills and truths did your mom teach you? Do you view them as graceful adornments that enhance your life every day?

Father in heaven, let me live up to the blessings and the values my mother instilled in me for Your glory.

Tuesday – 2 Timothy 1:5  So often our mothers have been shining examples and instructors for our faith – another great reason to honor them this week (and always).

Lord God, please bless mothers today as they lead their children to follow You and do what is right.

Wednesday – Proverbs 31:28-29  All moms deserve honor and blessings from their children and family. Even in difficult situations, find something to appreciate and recognize about your mother.

Heavenly Father, let me never take my mother for granted, but often express my appreciation.

Thursday – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7  There aren’t any moms who are perfect, but don’t you think of your mom with many of these descriptions of love? Thank her for the specific ways she carries them out.

Father, please bless and strengthen loving mothers in all different challenges and situations. Please grant them the peace, energy and courage to love as only they can.

Friday – Proverbs 31:1  Often, the truths that we live by and teach to others were taught to us by our parents. What’s the most useful truth you learned from your mother?

Father, I have been blessed with a wonderful mother. Show me how I can pass on her legacy to others who will benefit.

Saturday –  Proverbs 23:25  ”Make me proud.” Did you ever hear that from your mother? How can you do it today?

Great God in heaven, I live to please You and bring about Your will in my life first. As I serve You, let me give my mother reasons to rejoice.

Monday – Philippians 2:3  Relationships become more difficult when we only seek to satisfy our needs in our interactions with others. Today, reflect on how you can serve those around you. Try and put friends, family and co-worker’s lives before your own.
Lord, this day help me to realize this life is not about me. Help me to serve those around me and seek to honor and respect others.

Tuesday – John 13:35  The simplest commands can often be the most difficult. No matter what type of relationship you’re in, loving others can be trying. Yet, Jesus says the world will know who follows Him based around how we love people.
Heavenly Father, please convict me of not showing Your love to the people in my life.

Wednesday – Colossians 3:13  Whether it is marriage or just a friendship, forgiveness must be a part of each relationship if it will stand the test of time.
Lord, in order for me to live a life free of envy, strife and resentment, help me to forgive those who have wronged me.

Thursday – Hebrews 10:24-25  As followers of Christ, we should give life to our friendships and relationships. We can do this by always offering an encouraging word or a helping hand to others.
Heavenly Father, please help me identify opportunities throughout this day to go out of my way to enhance the life of someone else.
